This is a piece by one of my favorite film composers. The Hunger Games trilogy was my favorite childhood book series and the film score delivers a wide range of intense rhythms and emotional melodies. Ever time I play this song, the words of the Hanging Tree are sung in my head.

I love playing this song because it represents my love for music, ballet, and Christmas! Many years ago, I played this song for a Christmas recital as a young music student and now it is a favorite piece of mine every holiday season.
